 Health Issues

Australia’s health
requirements are designed to:

  minimise public
  health and safety risks to the Australian community;

  contain public
  expenditure on health and community services; and

  maintain access
  of Australian residents to health and other community services
Generally, as long
as your are in good health you should have no problems meeting the Australian
health requirements.
People who intend to stay in Australia for a long period or who will be in an
environment where disease can be spread easily, such as a classroom or food
preparation area (commercial kitchen) may be required to undergo a more detailed
health assessment.   |
